BRUCE STOTT started skijoring in 2000 .  His other love is Gelande or Alpine Ski Jumping.  He has excelled at both sports.  Bruce also participated for seven years in the Extreme Skiing Tour (now called the Free Skiing Tour).  He lives in Frisco, Colorado and, while an accomplished competitor, Bruce is also responsible for building the course in Minturn for the skijoring event.  He has learned this art from Jody Manly of Leadville who was one of Colorado’s first skiers to race behind a horse.  Jody first experimented with skijoring 50 years ago in the fields of Dillon, Colorado that are now covered by a reservoir called Lake Dillon.  Ironically, Bruce now lives in the same vicinity.  Bruce is known for his strength and agility on skis and landing some of the highest jumps at the greatest speeds with extraordinary ease.  He has captured Open Division titles in Whitefish and Red Lodge, Montana and Leadville and Minturn, Colorado.

DARIN ANDERSON has been skijoring for over 10 years.  He is originally from Anoka, Minnesota and currently resides in Eagle, Colorado.  Darin has competed in Man of the Cliff, an event comprised of outdoor rugged activities, and has captured wins in Minturn, Colorado skiing behind Allen Bearden of Burns, Colorado.  They have proven to be a formidable team in the Sport Division.  Darin is an investor in Bonfire Brewing, a main sponsor of RMX Skijoring for the past four years.  Bonfire will be offering a selection of micro brews in a beer tent at the February 27th & 28th 2016 event.  Darin is featured in the Ice Cowboys film and does a great job of describing the sport in colorful terms!
